so imagine you are at a party losing your mind to a succession of your favorite stevie wonder tunes and then suddenly the entire thing hits a fever pitch cus the dj throws on do i do*. as you lose your everloving mind the music stops and out walks none other than mr steveland morris and he then proceeds to sing that girl, my cherie amour and do i do (the song that had JUST started your fever pitch) acapella while bobbito beat boxes and/or loops up a sample. im so glad that i dont have to imagine that any of this happened…

amazing is an understatement man. seriously i liken it to if jesus showed up to sunday service. i mean i had heard the stevie shows up to to wonderful parties but its kinda like folk lore to me. you know cus stevie aint really a person in my mind, he is kinda mythical. at least to me. and ANYBODY that knows me knows that im a die hard stevie fan, i go on month long stevie binges and i am currently in one which makes last nights events that much crazier to me.

the first chance i had to go to a wonderful party i didnt make it in. we were in la shooting the video for we be and i was too exhausted to get out of the car and go inside the party. it was a LONG day of shooting yall, you have no idea. but yeah man the stories i had heard about that night, princes entourage tyring to take che grand into the party, ilyas walking 10 people inside the party on facial credit, bobbito shouting out tanya morgan on the mic, hell at one point i woke up and saw sa-ra walking past the car but i went back to sleep.

im so glad i didnt sleep thru this one. june has just been fantastic and its not even halfway over…
