So last night we went out for the homie Che Grand’s bday. Us being us going out meant finding a free drink party and getting it all the way the fuck in. We rolled thru some Fader joint (shout out to Matt & Maria) where I double fisted bacardi until I was ready to leave. From that point we headed over to some other open bar (NYC is crawling with open bars lol) and from there went to Bob’s (the place where i met Laura in my video) to end the night.
Sounds like fun right? I mean it definitely was but it helped me remember something about myself. See I hadnt been to one of those stand and sip parties in a while. They get DJ’s to come spin and hype up the crowd but people literally scream over the music and stare at each other. It’s just weird to see a party full of people not dancing at all. I’m not an industry dude at all, im far from it actually. I’m politcal at times and i underdstand the industry crowd but i cant really rock with it. I love my industry friends, this aint a diss to them at all cus i dont think anybody really likes the industry scene i just think they have to be there for their job and networking.
This post has no point, I just wanted to type ‘I aint no industry Nigga’ as a header. LOL
