De La Soul is one of the most important groups of all time and Slate gave me the honor of talking to Jason Johnson about their history and the importance of their catalog finally hitting the streaming services.

They had reached out to me about recording this episode a few weeks prior to Dave’s death and I was really looking forward to having the conversation. While his passing may have made it bittersweet it’s still a pretty fun conversation because i LOVE talking about De La Soul.
